Sustainability

We aim to ensure apparel in the Popular Science shop has as little impact on the planet as possible. Our shirts, sourced from Everywhere Apparel, are made from recycled cotton and manufactured through an entirely North American supply chain—so goods travel as little as possible on their way into your closet.

Everywhere's production cycle also helps shoppers close the manufacturing loop. Old cotton is shredded, spun into yarn, woven into fabric, and sewn into new garments. Everywhere will even send a return envelope to take back well-loved garments and scraps to begin again.

Our cover art is printed on FSC certified paper sourced from sustainably-managed forests.

Everything in our shop is also made to order, which means we never produce a single item more than we need.
